Help! Nasty iron burps!

These terrible burps, plus the constipation, were what made me switch to the proferrein es heme iron. They're expenseive little buggers, but well worth it.

OMG, I'm so glad I'm not the only one having this.  The burps taste like burnt metal.  The first day, I threw up from the taste.  I was afraid I had swallowed something poisonous floating in my Snapple... even thought, what if there was a cigarette butt in it?

This is intolerable, every time I burp I gag and shudder and cry.  I'm already struggling to get through the last of my despised BA chewable multivits, I do not need yet another factor making me vitamin averse.

There's only one Iron supplement I've found in all my years of anemia that doesn't give me an upset stomach and/or Iron burps. It's called Forte 150mg and it's a prescription from the doctor. Everything else, even Tender Iron, hurts my stomach, constipates me, and gives me Iron burps.
