Dr. Marchesini is so nice, isn't he? I don't think there is a person out there that doesn't like him.
I had a room with a balcony also and it was very nice. I was just to cold to go out on it and stay for any length of the time.
So I gather you are still at the hospital, I'm just wondering because I had surgery on Wednesday and Friday I got to go back to the hotel. I felt so well I could hardly believe it.
Have you met Ana yet? She is the best also, we had her take us sight seeing and it was inexpensive and loads of fun.
Well, get well soon. I hope you heal quickly and the time passes fast too.

I met Ana--she's a real joy and has the kindest heart! What a real bonus to this trip she has been.
I'm still in the hospital...haven't started liquids yet. He had a lot of adhesions to remove and is being cautious to not rush things I think. That's ok with me as I don't want to end up getting readmitted. May be going to the hotel tomorrow.

I too had a large balcony and room - maybe even the same one. You know who else was really nice? Ellen, hospitial concierge. Have you met her?
The worst part is now the boredom of waiting till you can come home again. I definitely felt well enough at my one week check up and Dr. M approved it but it was soooo expensive to change the flights, we decided to just stay.
