I have followed your journey from the beginning. My daughter is your age and I share your story with her as an inspiration for both of us. I am always so impressed by you and your story of struggles and successes. I just want to emphasis to you that I feel certain that you, now that you have regained control of your life, are capable of whatever you wish to achieve. I hope that you set your goals in life very high and I know you can reach those goals. Please find scholarships to continue your education. I know that they are out there for you. I know that you are going to make a positive difference in this world and I am so thankful that you decided to stick it out and fight for your life! Love you!

I'm new to OH and was looking around at the different wls boards. I stumbled across a topic about a young man who is curious about DS and was wondering if any young members had the surgery. In one of his replies, someone suggest he reads your story and so I was curious to see your blog for myself and OMG....tears tears tears. Im at my dest @ work, thankfuly I have a private office so nobody can see how wet my shirt is right now. I just love your post. Its so personal and heartfelt! I have never read such a post as yours.
