Howdy! (been MIA)
I've been feeling icky for a while - just one little thing after another. Kept up to date as much as possible but mostly didn't feel up to replying (although kept those who needed/ asked in my prayers!).
First it was "the hand" - taking Motrin (400 mg 4Xday) for the blood clot. That made me feel really lousy in my 2 1/2 week old tummy! Bleck!
Then I developed a 'weird' infection in my throat. You know it's "weird" when your PCP leaves the room to call his friend the ENT. Got a big old shot in my rump - then 10 days of high-powered antibiotics. Again....BLECK!
Finally.... today I feel like eating!!! Yea!
So - back on the road to recovery......eating, drinking and taking vits!! :-)
Went out and bought a lb of lump crab-meat to celebrate the return of my appetite - YUMMY!
Sorry I've been 'missing'. These first 7 weeks have been a challenge! LOL! Post-Op life sure has it's ups and downs. Looking forward to many more "up" days from here on out! :-)
