Isopure an option for clear liquids?

Stupid question!!! I am absent minded and feel a little stupid for asking this question, but is Isopure considered a liquid for clear liquid diet?

the RTD drinks, yes

if the powder is diluted in water, yes

I always get confused on sugar free jello being considered okay for a clear liquid diet... i think..

sugar free jello is ok for liquid diet. But, pre-op...no red or blue, other than that it is all ok.

Any thing you can see through is considered clear liquid. nothing creamy

on my clear liquid list it had water, broth, sf jello, powerade zero or gatorade g2 and I think thats it. It may have had diluted apple juice but I don't think so.

I am pretty sure protein drinks were a no no for me but I was only on clear liquids for one day preop, it really was no biggie.

I don't really know about isopure being okay, but my surgeon says jello is okay pre-op, but NOT okay on liquid diet post-op. He said something about it doesn't alway flow as well post-op. Make sure on both. Call dietician if you can. T

Ht: 5'7" HW/247ish SW/234 CW/141-145 (Over 100 pounds lost in 8 months!)

Okay, just spoke to the surgeons office, isupure not okay for the one day preop, but is okay for post op, just in case anyone else needed to know. Now I don't feel as stupid, lol. Thanks again everyone!!!

ahhh my surgeon wants me to do protein drinks 10 days before surgery, but the day before surgery just clear liquid.

I guess the powdered isopure won't be good the day before..

ok now my head hurts, lol
