Terrifying Dumping Incident + is this normal?
Those are also symptoms of dehydration, heat exhaustion and common sense symptoms of how you'd feel after doing too much right after getting your guts replumbed. DSers do. not. dump, or almost NEVER, no more so than the non-operated population.
Your NUT doesn't know what she's talking about. That is true of almost every NUT on the planet when it comes to the DS.
But hey, if you want to believe a NUT over the vets, you go right ahead.

Hmm... I had Everyone of listed symptoms today. I was cleaning my kitchen and we don't have air. So #1 I was over heated and #2 I hadn't eaten all day. And Guess what I haven't had ANY type of WLS yet.
I wouldn't say you experienced Dumping syndrome. Like many have explained it isn't possible. Your body has been threw drastic surgery and is taking A LOT of your energy to heal. So you probably over did it. Also you Body isn't used to eating so little. As a pre-op if you had done the EXACT thing and eaten the EXACT amount and taken in the EXACT amount of fluids. How would you of felt? Like others said maybe it is Hypoglycemia or your body telling you to take it easy for a while. I Do hope you feel better soon and don't have another episode.

I did not keep reading down but reactive hypoglycemia is one of the stages of dumping but as I did see mentioned, there is no possible way you can dump when you have a pyloric valve because the valve makes sure your food is adequately digested before it hits your intestines. Take it from someone who has dumped for 8 years - could be reactive hypoglycemia but more likely dehydration/exhaustion.

"Well I suppose anything is possible! But considering I had every single symptom of dumping syndrome, I didn't think it was so outrageous to determine that was an option."
What makes it "outrageous' to determine that dumping was an option is that you still have your pylorus, which makes true "dumping syndrome' almost impossible. It's also outrageous that you didn't LEARN this as a pre-op.

Not only should you take the video down you should also remove this thread. DSers DO NOT
DUMP!
Its more than likely a combo of things...too much exhertion, too hot and too much sugar at one time. If you are going to drink juice or real sugary drinks you need to water them waaaayyyyyy down.

Oh I know it was terrible of me. I had chest pain once. I'm sure my DS gave me a heart attack.
For once I wish we HAD moderators who would actually edit a post title rather than the ones we have who hide themselves like little children and spend their time keeping helpful people from posting. KWIM?
I think I'll start a post about my horrible heart attack symptoms obviously caused by my DS.
Some people are too stupid to have the DS. I wish the GD psychs could tell stupid from not stupid. I thought that IQ tests were developed last freakin' century???
I would like for the NUTS to have to take an IQ test actually...
Hmmmmmm.
