HEY, I've gotten heart palpitations since my DS too! They MUST have been DS related. In fact, they MUST have been hidden dumping syndrome! Oh yeah, I was dizzy and sweaty and light headed and shaky! And it happened after I drank something! I'm an anomaly, I'm a DS dumper!!!!

Oh, wait. You mean OTHER things could be happening to me? Impossible. I FELT IT, so it must be FACT.

Well then...my comment is that you are an idiot.

And, since you won't listen to the vets who know WAY more than your idiot Nut, good luck with the rest of your life.

Just be prepared...because now a good number of us know to follow you around OH and point out that you are misinformed and posting misinformation.

So you ask for advice ... None of the responses agree with you that it was dumping so now the vets and people who have HAD the surgery are wrong and your NUT who has NOT had the surgery is right.

I hope you don't expect answers next time you need advice or help.

The reason we are all disagreeing with you is because you are WRONG and we don't like to see WRONG information being spread around by someone who is 10 days out and already knows it all.

You are correct however in saying that you can leave your misinformation on YT, and that gives us all some insight as to your integrity.  If you are not sure what integrity is, look it up.

I haven'****ched your video but I know that a week after my surgery I walked a mile to my friends restaurant and then had some water and an egg (which I have been eating fine) and suddenly I started feeling so sick. I was nauseous and clammy and my face turned white and I thought I was going to faint. It was horrible. I had my mother come pick me up and drive me back so I can just get some rest. It was a combination of the heat and overexerting myself so soon after surgery even though I felt fine and in fact after I walked into the restaurant I was feeling fine, it wasn't until after I sat for a little bit and then started to eat. After I rested for a little while in an air conditioned room I was fine and then I waited another week before I attempted walking like that again. I have been fine since. I just had to learn that I cannot overdo it even if I feel fine.

Keep in mind that before surgery I was walking miles every single day and have for years, so I didn't think one mile would be a big deal for me but it was. Between that and the heat and not really eating much, it was enough to do me in. We just need to be a little more careful with our bodies.

My nutritionist talked about dumping too, she is a total moron. I doubt she could even describe the DS surgery in detail or for that matter even understands what *dumping* is and why rnyers dump.

Also, for those that say it may have been hypoglycemia... I wasn't diabetic before my surgery but a couple of weeks after surgery decided to test my blood sugar and it was unusually high (around 118 I think) which for me was super unusual since I am normally around 87-92 and I was concerned but it has gotten back to normal and blood sugars can be a bit wonky immediately after surgery so it is quite possible you had a hypoglycemic episode. I don't have my speakers hooked up, so I couldn'****ch the video but I used to have hypoglycemia episodes years ago before I discovered Atkins (which corrected it permanently it seems) but from the posts here its completely possible that your blood sugar was just behaving poorly from the juice. I always have my carbs with a protein and/or fat to slow down the absorption.

You asked for advice, here it is.  Take that video down, because you are wrong, being foolish and spreading misinformation.

You say you need advice but then you don't listen to a word anyone has said.

WTF??

You did not 'dump'.

I'm just over 2 weeks out, and everytime I over do it, I get those symptoms. Even taking a shower gives me those symptoms. Read my thread about passing out. When I get these symptoms, I haven't had anything with sugar in it, so I know it's just over exerting myself. If I walk more than 5 minutes I have to sit down because the symptoms start. Yeah, they suck. Yeah, they're like nothing I've ever felt before. But no, I know it's not dumping, because we have a pylorus still :)
