Dizziness and Work
I had asked the doctor's ofc a few times about how much time I need off from work and kept getting an ambigous answer - 2 weeks at the minimum and it could go up to 6 weeks. I'm at the 1 1/2 weeks mark now. So I called again today and got the nurse. She told me for a lap DS, I really should be off work 4 weeks until I'm back on solid food. We also talked about my being dizzy after showering and having to lay down and she said that was my blood sugar getting too low and that it was normal.
I can't believe no one at the doctor's office could provide me this info before the surgery. Hello??? Work is expecting me back next week.

My physician cleared me (and most of his other patients) to return to work after two weeks. It would be nice, if your work can manage without you though, to take four. My job is very active and I survived though. About the dizziness? I'd hazard a guess that it's more blood pressure than blood sugar. Make sure you are taking enough fluids!

Dehydration can make you very dizzy too. How is your fluid intake? I got a mite dehydrated at your stage and felt very dizzy as a result.
If you can manage the time off work, I'd definitely wait a bit longer. 2 weeks seems awfully soon to me, though I know people manage it. My 6-week-taking-off self is in awe of those people.
