Diana,
Congratulations and many thanks to you.   You are so smart and pro-active, you will tame your carb monster and regain your wardrobe. Your honest reporting on the issues you face and the steps you take to deal with them is so valuable.  There just are not thanks enough!
Regards,

Geeze Diana, you've sure had a struggle with this; seems like it's been ongoing for some time now, sure hope you're through with all this and can get back to living your life.

I could have written the same thing about exercise 18 months ago when I first started; it was not something I really wanted to do or enjoyed. Sometimes nowadays, I have to stop and think how much my attitudes about it have changed and what I need to do to make sure I keep the attitude I have now. I think a lot of it has to do with finding something you enjoy ~ well DUH~ but the think is; in the past, long ago when I exercised pretty much every day, it was something I had to make myself do because I had to. The difference now is that I look forward to going to the weight training and the swimming, so it's not like I have to force myself to do them. Running; well I still have to force myself to do that, but I can force it twice a week without it getting to be a real PIA.

I don't know what to tell you to do, other than find something you can really enjoy doing, I know that sounds like a; well duh comment, but I really do think it's key.

Sure hope you get feeling better soon. I may be coming to the Oct. SF meeting, so hope to see you then.

Congratulations Diana.   I didn't realize our surgery dates were only one day apart.   You'll get the calcium/D straightened out, I"m sure.  You've done so well to this point.    My daughter, a naturally skinny little ballerina type also gained on Celexa.    Good luck with the ADD....I'm considering being evaluated for that myself.  My focus issues are increasing - not sure it is a hormonal thing, an aging thing, or if I"ve always been this way!

Congrats on everything except the 25 lbs. That, frankly, scares the **** out of me, so I'm glad you shared. "Ever watchful" is the DS motto I suppose.

So many people have been touched by you. And are so lucky.
