Is protein aversion your only issue? Is it just protein drinks you don't like or do you not like any kind of meat, eggs, cheese or fish? Do you think having a reversal will solve your aversion to protein?

I agree with others that we need more detail before we can offer much help.

 I do not personally know anyone that had their surgery reversed, but I do know that the first thing that will happen will be that you regain your weight. Having another surgery is always risky. Only you can decide if the issues you are having outweighs the benefits from the DS and is worth the risk of undergoing another major surgery.

Anne, I looked at your posts since your DS and it sounds like you have been pretty down for all those months.  Is it possible you are depressed?  If so, think about getting it treated, and if you are being treated, you might need your meds switched up.  Hang in there.
