Happy Surgiversary to Julie R and Me
Happy surgiversary, Julie! You have been a great inspiration to me through this journey. You were always there for me and I'm so glad we got to meet IRL last year. (((Julie))) Thank you.
I'm still kicking at 3 years post-op! You hear all those naysayers talking about lightweights getting a DS and getting too skinny...lol Poo on them! I'm loving life and thank my lucky stars for this surgery. I definitely got my life back, plus some. And, my labs today are even better than they were as a pre-op (thank you Vitalady!). So, double poo on the naysayers!
Lightweight pre-ops, don't fall for "you're too small for a DS", find a surgeon *****ally believes in the DS and fight for what you believe is best for you. Read this board and learn from the vets. Understand what works for them and what doesn't. Read all the posts Vitalady responds to, bookmark them, and ask her questions. Good luck to you!

Isn't it amazing how fast this time has gone? You have been such a source of dedicated commitment to this board, Gina, and you have assisted innumerable people in making this DS journey an optimal one. I don't know what OH would do without you!
