***Thursday Bites & VItes***
I feel waterlogged and bloated with fluids, if that makes any sense. Sometimes more than others. I am still not able to walk a lot without getting flushed and dizzy. I get winded easily too, to the point I can't speak. A walk up the stairs and I have to rest at the top. My heart races like crazy too when walking up the stairs. I am chalking all this up to not getting enough fluids in. I'm not working or going outside.

do warm liquids sit well with you? I lived on peppermint or ginger tea in the beginning. I would add 1/2 a packet of Truvia sweetener to it, and just sip non-stop all day. The warmth really soothed my throat and tummy and I was much better able to get my fluids in that way.

B- fasting for labs
S- sausage, egg & cheese croissant with 1/2 of the bottom croissant (cheese was stuck to it)
S- protein shake
L- 7oz filet minion
S- shared small piece of cake w/daughter
D- homemade chicken caesar pasta salad (2 big bunches romaine hearts, 1/2 tub feta, 1/2c slivered almonds, whole packet of perdue precooked chicken, 1c dreamfields, Ken's Steakhouse caesar dressing)- made it for the family dinner and I'm working on a big plate of it now.
Vites- all in so far
Fluids- low, about 40oz
Exercise- none, I feel awful today, really tired, sluggish and achey all over. I think I picked up the bug from my parents over the weekend since I was already down with the strep ick. Ugh.

I know! I'm going nuts. I'm *never* sick with this stuff, and now all of a sudden? Oh well, maybe I am getting it all out of my system for the year, haha! I'm just taking what is in the Vita4Life for D, plus an extra 50K every other day. I got my level up really high before surgery, so I knew I had some reserves. I know I will need to increase the D, but wasn't sure how much so was waiting on my labs. There was just so much sickness going around on our vacation, and with my autoimmune issues, it is easy for me to catch stuff and hard to toss it off when I do.
Try adding 2 more 50K days for 5 days a week. It should take about 2 weeks to get your tests back or at least most of them. It took another week or so for my stragglers to come in. I have my 3 year annual next Wed with Dr E or whomever them put me with.

I was *supposed* to go next Wed for my 3 month (ugh, I can't even type straight today), but, it doesn't look like I'll be able to keep that appt. The PCP wanted me to wait on having my labs done, and then had no reason to. So, they won't be back in time for Dr. E next week...
