I like your line of thinking on that!

I've been doing fairly well. I have just been swamped with work, so I read a little each day, but not a lot of time to post. I'm down to 190, so solidly in the 100s now. I'm hoping to stay on the roll because I'd like to loase another 40-50 pounds, and I'm getting pretty far along now. Don't want to screw this up. I've significantly cut my bread back. I do have something "bad" many days, but not every, and generally not too much.

Have that philly! It was good!

Oikos vanilla
15 cherries
ham and cheese
wheat crackers and 3oz cheese
protein tea - attempted and it made me sick

I tried mixing vanilla protein powder with chai tea
I drank 1/3... it tasted gross and I have been bloated and gassy since then and unable to eat
so I didnt get to have my steak tonight :-(

I will try to eat again if I feel better later
on the plus side I am doing much better with the gout

Added: 1 lightly breaded chicken cutlet with a slice of muenster cheese and half a roasted plum tomato

Glad you're feeling better. The only vanilla shake I can stand in the IDS van-cinn. I think the Nectar vanilla is ok too but it's been some time since I used that one. Most other vanillas have too much of a protein taste. I think for chai tea, I'd have to mix it extra light. Maybe 1/2 scoop of powder to 4 oz of 1/2 & 1/2 and then pour the hot tea over the slurry. I'll have to experiment and let you know.
