Surgery tomorrow, OMG! It's finally here

Althese months waiting, going for tests, working through approvals, sending more paperwork, and more paperwork, faxing, phone calls..... and it's here.

I'm in the hotel, having my liquids for the day.  It's all good.  I'm not as nervous as I thought I would be.  I guess because I have complete faith with my surgeon, Dr. Gagner.  I know as soon as I do wake up, my first words will be " was the DS done completely, am I switched?"  I too think about that because of all my previous surgeries, (lapband, lapband errosion, pancreatic pseudocyst and c section) that maybe my adhesions will prevent me from getting it done.  Dr. Gagner said he can most certainly handle this, and I can have my DS lap.  This is why I came to Montreal, from New Jersey.

I can't wait to finally get rid of my "obesity" and I know the DS will be the best for me, and give me the best results.  I chose the DS, because I've heard of RNY folks regaining, and I never want to go through that again.

Thanks for all your support from everyone here through these years of research on here.  I can't wait to post before and photo whoring after pics.

I did find out the hospital doesn't have internet access yet, so I won't be able to post until I'm released from the hospital which, should be either wednesday or thursday./

Thanks again, and please, swing some critters this way for me and Lizzie.

Sincerely,
Donna
