LISEY UPDATE!!!

Hey Lisey.  Sorry for the late response, but you know what.  I am not too sure.  I think I have heard something like that before, but I am not too sure where.  It really doesn't make any sense why we would be more at risk than any other person that has had abdominal surgery though?  If it happens once, of course it could happen again, but I don't know why the risk would be any greater...hmm.

I thought we were all more at risk due to increased space in our abdomen from having lost so much weight in addition to having an abdominal surgery.  As for the other one (happens once, more likely to again than someone else who also had abd surgery &/ or WLS who didn't have a BO) - I could totally be wrong & hope I am!  Thanks for your response.  I think I might start a thread asking for feedback.

O yes!  The first part is correct.  You can have a B/O even if you lost weight without surgery, but like you said having abdominal surgery on top of that pretty much takes the cake..lol!  And, I hope you are wrong as well!!..lol!  God, I don't want another B/O and I know you don't either!  A thread would be nice to have, to see what other people's feedback would be!  And also you look very lovely yourself lady.  You take care as well!

I'm glad they were able to catch it.  Wow.  Although the urgent care doc was an idiot and should have been more thorough in his examination.  Grr..
