Would having your blood drawn perhaps make you more subceptable to colds and other minor bugs?

I'm trying to figure out what happended to me lol Tuesday afternoon I get a bladder infection, Friday I get my blood drawn and Saturday I wake up with some sort of cold thing! LoL

Bad luck or somehow it's all related?

I donated blood and woke up the next morning with a chest cold that turned into bronchitis the day after that.  This was several years ago, pre-DS.

Nope. You're trying to make connections that don't exist. It's bad luck. Memorize (learn meaning of as well if needed) this sentence: "Correlation does NOT imply causation."

Look it up. Google is your friend.

Nah you're not using that much blood volume to have any real consequence on your circulating volumes or  white blood cells.  You likely were brewing that baby already.  Chances of having that virus or bacterium introduced in the lab are about the same as catching a bus, ( stats go up if you had it drawn on a hospital ward) however incubation time would usually be greater for the common cold then 12-24hrs.  You probably felt tired and a bit crappy last week?????

I too have a cold and am stewing in my own snot.  I am an erotic Odyssey!
