Today I received my Vita-lady protein shake samples after doing battle with customs and excise.  I have consumed banana scream, mocca coffee and cookies and cream.  Bless you valiant American people for inventing shakes that don't taste like arse.

I am very pleasantly surprised and my liver thanks you.

If you're into the chocolate stuff and like a fruity chocolate taste, try some raspberry sugar free syrup to go with your chocolate protein shakes. It tastes soooo good.

Kirmy--glad you found some protein drinks that work for you.  It can be hit or miss with those things.  WHen they are good they are very good, when bad...ugh.  Hopefully the next round won't be nearly so difficult--perhaps we need to start an under the radar supply line?

Living_on_the_edge,
I fear you may not be aware of this so I will let you know:  Board protocol is usually that if you open a thread and read it and it is not something you have interest in, you simply leave the thread.  No harm, no foul.  Your response is not only pointless and nonsensical, it is rude.  Kirmy does not deserve that.  Are you committed to offending?

I love reading your replies...I imagine it is your dog speaking.  Oddly he smokes a pipe and wears a red velvet smoking jacket with a cravat.....lovely wee doggy.

Don't fret the mentally imbalanced one.  I am flattered to have my very own stalker creature bobbing about my posts with his/her failed witticisms.  It is fine....in fact it is very much like a random word association.  If we sit here quietly eventually he/she will expose her/his innermost fears.

I am having not much luck on the Champion Pure Whey stack front...everywhere wants to charge me £56 which is almost three times the cost than America.  I will keep looking.....damn arse flavored protein supplements............

Chloe (said 'lovely wee doggy) prefers a satin dressing gown, though the pipe is still an option.  I call that picture of her "She who must be obeyed"

She's a Wire Fox Terrier and we 'rescued' her--her original owners were long time WFT owners and were dismayed that her ears stood erect rather than flopping as they should.  So they offered her for free.  We (being so far from breed standard ourselves) had no qualms about her ears or her slight obsession with the throwing and fetching of Red Balls.  17 lbs of pure energy and attitude.

Chloe is VERY cute! Penfold has one ear up one down with the occasional two erect with a prevailing wind.  I like the Wire Fox Terriers...much moulting?  Penfold is like sharing with a polar bear.... a polar bear that shaves his whole body on the couch.

I love Terriers they are like living with Mrs Doyle from Father Ted.."will you have a cup of tea Father...Father a cup of tea...go on go on go on go onnnnnnn Father will you have a cup of tea....go onnnnn".  Insistent characters with a sense of humor and a streak of mischief.

Insistent...yes.  She just sat here and 'insisted' me out of some of my crisps and part of my sandwich!

Two of our boys had an allergy to dogs so we went in search of a non-shedding variety.  Chloe really is a minimal shedder--we're all surprised to find hairs on us.  I think it is the Wire aspect to her coat.  Probably if we stripped her rather than having her clipped she'd shed even less.  However, I don't see our Lady Chloe submitting to a hand stripping of her coat.

We considered JRTs but it was the shedding that dissuaded us.  The boys' allergies (based on the last testing) have subsided, so maybe one day we'll get Chloe a playmate.
