I try to buy in bulk when I order from vitalady to save on shipping costs (free if $300+).  There's one other place online I get my magnesium & B6 from.  There's 3 that I get from a local health food store (copper, probiotic, folic acid) and there's a few that I get from Walmart or Target (calcium citrate, B12 sublinguals, biotin, super b complex).

In a nutshell, I really try to be a bargain shopper while making sure to get vitamins that actually work!  I basically follow vitalady's plan with a couple of extras by choice.

I spend $110/ month total.   I spend less on food every month than I did as a pre-op, so it helps to balance out some of the vitamin cost.

ETA:
$23 of that is actually JUST my probiotic, which is pretty ridiculous.  I'm planning on getting a different, cheaper one in the future, which will likely bring my monthly total to around $100.

I have upped some and added a few others recently so that I cannot even tell you any more. I guess I have to go back and figure this out for myself too so that I can work it all into a budget. I know its completely worth it but for right now I'm just focussing on chasing good lab values.

I spend about £300 ($500ish) every three months or so.

Expensive but it's what you sign up for when you get the DS

I've been ordering my vitamins and protein 6 months at a time this year.  At this point, I believe I am stocked until December and my total for the year is $1740.  I take a large amount of vitamins, and I go through two 5-lb tubs of protein per month (more than most people just for referrence).  The price for the protein this year was $840.  The vits were $960 which comes out to $80 per month.  I take the Vitalady basic program for DSers and then some, so like I said...I'm on the high end.  Thank goodness for my flexible spending account, it's really been an awesome tool to use.  If you have an FSA through your work, you can get your surgeon to write a letter of necessity for each of your vits and your protein and they will reimburse you for these things.

Sometimes I hate how much we have to budget for my dietary needs, but then I remember how much healthier I am for it and move those thoughts out of my brain.  I love my DS.

I havent fully figured it out since early out I spent way more on stuff that I didnt take like chewable everything for several months out (blech!) I am setting aside $100/month for vites but at the moment with the actual pills I am taking it isnt that high. What I do (maybe because I am weird) is I set aside x amount of money every 2 weeks (when I get paid) to automatically go into a special savings acct that I have for my wls stuff. That is my plastics acct and the acct that I budget for vites, protein and anything else wls related that I need so I can stay organized.
