Don't know.  I hiccup when I'm full--makes me feel like a whistling tea pot!

Very interesting responses to being full. I can't think of a reasonable explanation.

It is to do with your vasovagal nerve, something about the sleeve stimulates it when you get full.

The Vagus nerve gets tripped by our full tummy and we start snottering and hiccuping or sneezing.  All Vagus nerve behavior.

RIP Mickie aka Happychick.  You will be missed deeply.

I get the hiccups and then my nose starts to run, an occasional sneeze finds its way too.  This just started happening though, before I was on my own, lol.  Had to figure out what was what....the hiccups and nose running really helps. lol too funny!!!

I sneeze. And the more I sneeze the fuller I am LOL. And my nose runs. I usually pass it off as allergies...lots of folks would think I'm looney if I told em "ok I'm full" LOL

Haha! Mine runs sometimes, but mostly I do this high pitched, squealing hiccup, several in succession. Everyone at the table says "Yep, Eileen's full."

What hilarious, unexpected physical responses to being full. I love it.

PS I looked up vasovagal and all I could find was a disease that makes you faint :(

Skip the vaso part.  I was typing without my husband's supervision.  Kirmy has the right of it--it's the vagus nerve
