Laparoscopic DS

If you have a laparoscopic DS do you wear a binder afterward?

I didn't wear one, and everything was fine. I did have 1 incision that kept causing me some grief, that when I would walk I would have to hold my stomach. I wore a body shaper (looks like a bathing suit-bought it at Kohls pre-surgery) under my clothes when I went out in public, and it kept me from having to hold my stomach. A binder would do the same job, though, I just didn't want to spend $40, lol.

 I don't think you have to wear a binder either way.  But you COULD wear one if you want to.  I pulled an abdominal muscle five days out coughing.  Wish i had a binder then.  And yes, I was a lap DS.
*   Take 1 DS, add a little p90x and stir :)

 I think Dr. K puts binders on all his patients. But my surgery with him was open, so I'm not 100% sure.

I wore a binder for about the first three weeks, most of the time.  It just felt more comfortable.
