Got my pedicure!!

All the best and many prayers for a smooth surgery and easy recovery! And here I thought I was the only one that insisted on a preop pedicure, LOL! Everyone I know thinks that it is silly I do that, but it makes me happy to see pretty toes looking back at me from the end of the bed, hahahaha!

One of my favorite memories of my trip to Ireland: I had a pedicure before I went. The 2nd night there, we went to a dance in a very small town. Danced ALL evening and had the best time. I finally took my shoes off because my feet hurt (I was heavy then) and I danced barefoot. An elderly man looked longingly at my elegant pedicure and uttered, in the most beautiful Irish brogue, "What prrrrretty little toes!" (the way he said toes, it sounded like "toos")

Had a band in 2005 at 280lbs, had band removed and DS done on Jan 22nd 08 at 220lbs in Spain, now 135lbs and a size 4!! Happy as a Clam!!Dontcha love the DS? It's the best tool around!!

wow...I wish I was allowed to get a pedicure..that was one the things I was told during Pre-op testing..no nail polish anywhere! It will be removed!
Anywhow..wish you a speedy recovery!
