Ok i think i have just about everything I need for my surgery in 2 weeks. Ugg, I've got a nervous stomach ache already, lol. Anyhooo, i was wondering if I'm going to need to get one of those bras that fasten in the front. I have big hooters and I don't like to go without one, so i was wondering if maybe i should get one, so it would be easier after the surgery? Thoughts? Thanks for the help!

I could only do a sportsbra for about a month.

Meh, I was around DDD+ and went braless and did fine. Get some leisure bras if you want, it made little difference for me.

Didn't it hurt your back to go braless with DDD's? I have DD, and it kills my back across my shoulder blades when i dont wear one- sometimes i even wear one to bed when they really bother me.

It's tough to sort out which pain came from where cuz I had so many!  Plus I had mega boobs most of my life....My first boob related backache came when I was 2.nd/3rd grade and sprouting and tortured. I had several whiplash type injuries too....and scoliosis ****so I dunno what pain came from where. Even today I have neck/shoulder issues and wind up in misery if I don't get to the chiropractor weekly. .

BUT the issues are somewhat different now than when I was DDD+. The pain is in different places, Bralessness didn't help then or now though.

I purchased a front closure sleep bra online.  The support was just so-so but certainly better than nothing.

With my DDD's, I ended up getting a nursing bra. It wasn't the best support in the world, but it was very comfy post op and easy to sleep in with my binder. I think I wore it the first three weeks post op.
