Torani vs Da Vinci Sugar Free Syrups

For those that have tried both, is there a big difference in flavor, are they basically the same thing just different company? labeling?

I can get the smaller bottles of Torani at our Walmart for a little over $4 which is what i've been doing up until now but i'd like to try some different flavors and get some just plain liquid sweetener which i see Da Vinci has one that's not a flavored one.

The Da Vinci seems more expensive, is it better?

I like Torani. I haven't had DaVinci, but our local World Market carries a TON more Torani flavors than our WalMart.

They carry SF raspberry, hazelnut, irish creme and a few others.

I strongly prefer the flavor of the DaVinci, personally. It tastes less artificial to me.

Guess it's just a matter of trial and error as I bought several DaVinci's thinking it would be good, but ended up giving them to my diabetic neighbor. I'm on a Torani hazlenut kick lately, it's great in protein coffee. You can get DaVinci at coffee shops, least that's where I got several bottles, and I also ordered many from VitaLady.  Wish they would come out with sample sizes.

I guess I am an oddball but I like monin the most.
Between Davinci and Torani it depends on the individual flavor. For example the Davinci vanilla is better than the torani but the torani lemon is better than the davinci.

I guess i will just keep up trying them and see what i like...

I agree i wish there was a small sampler pack...I really think i want to get the Da Vinci holiday pack but it's larger bottles, what if i don't like one of them, seems like such a waste...

Depends on the flavor. My favorite local coffee shop sells both, and will sell me a "shot" in a cup if I want to take it home to try it. They will also order in any flavor I request, and sell it to me at cost. It pays to have expensive taste in coffee, and many coffee drinkers in the house.

Wow, I never even thought to look for these in Walmart or any of the local stores. I figured I'd have to order them online.
