Oh Jill,

My mom died on September 11 and I'm still reeling from it. I have good moments and bad ones. Last night I completely lost it over finding something in my cabinet that I had bought for her. I don't think anything really helps but time does make things easier.

Please know that there are people who understand and who are thinking of you as you travel this difficult road. Be kind to yourself.

my heart is breaking for you. i have lost both of my dads and know that when i lose my mom it will be even harder to deal with. please try to find comfort in knowing she is at peace. as far as being overly sensitive, dont get down on yourself about it. the people who matter in your life will understand that you need some time to get passed the newness of what you are feeling right now. the people who dont understand, well **** on them. remembering all that she has done for you will be reflected by how you choose to live the life she has helped you to achieve. my prayers are with you.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, Jill, but so happy to hear that your mom is at peace.   I know this has been a rough couple of months for you.    Your mom must have been so proud of all you've accomplished in these past few years!    My dad has cancer and although he's fighting the good fight, I know his time will come in the next couple of years.   He's only 72.    Posts like yours remind of how precious RIGHT NOW is.    Take care, hun.
