My Eldest Son made the news again ~

There's a video clip in on the link that shows my son Jeremy landing his helicopter on a small rock pinnacle to rescue an injured hiker. He does this sort of thing a lot, don't know why they had a news crew along on this rescue.

The video also shows what the area is like where I live, it's pretty spectacular. I know how to fly helicopters, but I'm not good enough to do this.

Yea, thanks Lisa. Those red cliffs are about 5 miles from my house and it seems like this happens two or three times a year. People hike up them and get hurt or stuck and search & rescue has to save them. Jeremy has been helping with search & rescue for many years now.

Kerry you must be so proud!  There is no freeking way you would have caught me dead stepping foot out of that helicopter-let alone land the helicopter.   That looked way too scarry!  Beautiful scenery tho.  Thanks for sharing this with us.

How awesome! You should be proud of him! I will admit I don't believe you would catch me in a helicopter!

Yup, I've very proud of Jeremy, he helps a lot of people.

That landing was a real tricky one, something I wouldn't dare try. I've been flying for about 25 years, but only have a couple of years experience in the helicopter and I'm not good enough in the helio to try that.

Yup he's a keeper, but I have to admit, I have 4 great kids and I'm very proud of all of them, they all do things I'm proud of.
