Yup that landing site is a pretty hairy one; Jeremy lands on places like that quite often. He's been helping the county search & rescue for many years now and people are always getting themselves into bad spots like that. That particular cliff area is about 5 miles from my house and people are always hiking it and getting stuck or hurt and have to be rescued.

Great story, Kerry.  I didn't know you were in southern Utah.  We (my family and I) travel through southern Utah at least twice a year on our way to Colorado and we usually stop in St. George.  I also grew up skiing in Brian Head and now I am begging my husband to buy a cabin in Brian Head.  I can wish can't I?

My parents are involved with the NW search and rescue team.
It's a dedicated calling of service to have the extra fortitude to help others in that way.
Congratulations on raising your children under leadership dedicated to volunteer and helping others!
