It's still hard for me to realize I can eat fat without feeling bad.  The biggest amount I do get is from butter on things. It may be I need more fat.

This is exactly what I was thinking! More fat!

Heavy cream, mayo, bacon, real butter! Don't feel bad about it. Embrace it!

I bought a protein shampoo from my hairdresser & don't wash my hair daily.
Also adding protein & fat to your diet is going to help.

I have noticed some frizz in my new growth as well.  There is a hair treatment called "Brazilian Hair Straightening".   It adds keratin protein into the hair.  It is pricey, like $300 per treatment, and is done twice a year.    Just FYI...

Well, I'm pre op DS, post op RNY. After my RNY, my hair got horribly dry. Like if you were to run your hands through my hair, it would cut your fingers. Not really, but you get the idea. Turns out it was my hypothyroidism (I went without my med for a while. Like everything that's happened with me, it's a long story). Just a thought.
