set points & weight loss

just wondering if anyone else notices stalls at a set point-  meaning a weight the body was used to being at for a long time & a weight one could rarely get below in their adult life?? I am in a month stall and this is coincidentally the lowest weight I got down to after my stomach stapling in 1985 and never got below this weight. It was also a common weight for me to stay at for many years. Just wondering if anyone else experienced any stubborness at set points. I know about stalls . .every loss was after a stall for a few weeks. I am not losing patience- just am curious if it's because it's an old  set point???

yes,  I think this is common, and I have experienced it, not necessarily the lowest weight you have been, but sometimes it is a weight your body has been at for some time and is used to...will be interesting to see what others say
