Do You Know A Good LB to DS Revision Surgeon In Arizona; Or, If I Can't Get Insurance,...
Thank you for the Dr. Stewart referral. Also thank you for the price. At least I have a price ball park in my mind. $22,750. *Gulp* It's kind of like buying a mid-size car with cash, or a small condo with cash (depending on where you are). A little bit of sticker shock. I think I need to sit down, oh wait, I already am! Thank you for the info. Why should it matter if someone is a virgin or not? That's personal, and shouldn't have anything to do with the price.

By "virgin", we mean someone who has not has any previous bariatric surgeries. Since you are looking for a revision, you would not be considered a "virgin" DS.
Hi, D!
You already have the best suggestions on surgeons. I just wanted to mention that as far as I know, all the DS surgeons listed would be able to remove that band and do your DS. The people *****ally have trouble finding a revision surgeon are the ones who need RNY to DS revision. Much tougher and more risky.
If you can get the insurance coverage, I think you'll have some good surgeons to choose from.
Larra (and I don't know where Shanae is, and I'm assuming from your post that she also wants band to DS, so the same would apply to her)

Hey, Larra! Thank you for re-affirming the suggestions on surgeons. I respect your opinion, and your endorsement carries weight with me.
It is so nice of you and others here to help me. It means a lot. A few weeks ago, I felt lost and in the dark as to what to do with my particular situation. Now I feel like I have a path I can see. Even if the road in front of me may have a few bumps, I can see the end.
I am very humble, very grateful, and very honored to have the privilege to have met you guys here. This is not just some random message board. You do real good in helping real people in real life.
