Really - I DO want to go see you in Montana this summer!!  I need to know WHEN, though - since I have a little one to get situated and then see what airfare prices are (I've looked at some....wow!).

As soon as you firm up dates, I'll be hunting for a flight and babysitter!  :-)

BTW - I vote not to get together over July 4th.....too many people have plans and couldn't make it (IMHO).  All your other ideas sound wonderful!!!

Okay, you wanna do the music festival?

 The Festival sounds like fun.....but I'm all for soaking in the scenery and enjoying all things 'local', too!!

Well, mh and I have agreed that we like the idea of enjoying beer, scenery-scenic, beer, scenery-cowboy, beer and steak, not necessarily in that order. I LOVE hot springs soaking, she does not. I believe pycca wants steak and scenery-cowboy, also not necessarily in that order. Don't recall her opinion of hot springs. (I don't HAVE to have hot springs while you guys are here; I can go to one daily if I wish---ahhhhhhhh, the joy *anticipation*.)

Butte is full of localness all the time, if you have appreciation for it. It kinda has to grow on you a little, but it really is a cool town. If you're interested in mine stuff, I can arrange an all above ground tour of the area with my minerologist/metallurgist/miner/jewelry designer buddy. I highly recommend his stuff for souveniers too :-). (She says while wearing necklace, earrings and two rings made by his fine hands. His silver work is very affordable. Well, so's his gold work, for being gold.)

 
ALL sounds wonderful - including the hot springs!  Ahhhh!!!

I'm sure we'll have a blast no matter what we do.  :-)

 We will just have missed each other.   We will be in Kalispell for my son's wedding August 2 through August 8.    We had originally planned to drive, but with gas prices, we decided to take the train instead.     It would have cost us at least $1,000 in gas alone, let alone lodging and meals for the almost three-day drive.     I'm so excited about seeing your home state though, and I'm sure we'll be back.   I assured my son's future mother-in-law that this time out, we're there to help with the wedding, and next time will be purely for fun and exploration.

Well, I'll still be around.  Maybe we can still hook up somewhere!

Think I could find an old cowboy worth looking at ??  along with the other scenery...

I'm kind of the f=get somewhere and then enjoy whats there kind of gal,, but will do most anything,,,LOL
