Well hell, if you like those guys we could stay in the same place and do something similar to that....Those fellas live there, so I can pretty much guarantee they and/or their buddies will be around. They are probably still hootin' and hollerin' about all that female attention :-p.

Oh hell yeah, we have plenty of cowboy scenery out there! I'll prompt the BIL to arrange an introduction or two.

Do you have any preferences where you might be more likely to get time off? Earlier or later in the month? During the week vs. weekend? And how long can you be here?

No time is a 'bad time' - but waiting until after July 4th would be best (IMHO).

As for how long can I stay?? - How long can you stand me? LOL!

Truthfully, it'd be great to stay for several days......week/weekend - doesn't matter so much to me. :-)

Well, I can entertain you easily for a week if your pocketbook can stand it :-p. I'm pretty good at finding reasonably priced accomodations, too. Take a look at sapphire country/Pintlar Scenic Loop stuff here: http://philipsburgmt.com/ . The Broadway Hotel, according to my sister (who might show up to comment shortly) is awfully cute, and I'd say the prices are fairly reasonable based on double or triple occupancy. The place we stayed last year ran from something like $65 - $100 depending on the type of room.
