Lisey, been worrying about you! So glad you survived and are there now to help others who were less fortunate. Whatever task you do, I know you will do it well.
Lots of long distance hugs to you, and remember to take good care of yourself during this difficult period.

Glad you are ok.  I can only imagine how stressful it all is trying to help people who have lost so much.  Glad you are there to help in whatever way you can- that is awesome.

Your in my thoughts and prayers also.  Hang in there.

Lisa, I'm so glad you're ok and posted today. I've been going through my phone trying to find you or your sister's number. I've been so worried about you.

I know your day was impossibly hard.  But you helped people.  You really helped them.  My thoughts are with you and everyone affected.

SO glad you're safe! Bless your heart - and I mean that sincerely, not in the snide way.

Jonesboro has been hit twice, so everyone who was here in '68 or '73 has a split second of terror every time they test the sirens. I expect Joplin-ers will do the same every time it thunders.

As you know, disaster counseling is so emotionally and physically draining. Please find someone to talk to, debrief with, anything to keep you sane. Seriously, if you need an objective ear/shoulder, PM me for my phone or email me charleegriffith AT yahoo DOT com. Take care of you. *hugs*

Thank you so much everyone.  Today has been a better day for me so far.  I've been helping to feed people, doing special food runs for diabetics - things that need doing, but easier emotionally to do.  Thanks again

Darling regroup and rest and be at peace.  What a good thing you've done...being there when people are the most vulnerable and needing kindness more than ever.  How terribly sad for all concerned.  The one thing you can be sure of is the resilience of the human spirit.  Next year these shattered lives will be piecing themselves back together against all expectations.

Sending hugs sweetheart.
