Results from iron infusion, thoughts please
Just finished a round of Venofer and got my labs back this morning. I'm posting 3 different test with ranges, give me your ideas please. Getting confused things going up, going down.
Let's see if I can get this copied correctly. I was told I may need another infusion to get the %Sat Up. MCHC is low, ferritin jumped HIGH (I'm sure due to infusion).
Help me figure this out, please. I'm only posting iron related labs, the rest are fine, charted and no adjustments to supplements needed at this time.

Hi Cajun Girl,
I received a round of Venofer last Fall after my Ferritin dropped to 7. I trialed a 6 month Proferrin ES in hopes of avoiding the IV site pain that a few of us get. First lab after infusion: Ferritin 99, now 6 months later 63. Darn, darn, darn. Guess I'm stuck with infusions forever, too.
I'm jealous of your 249! No pain? No site reaction? Good for you!
