I'm sick guys - long, but not rambling, just comprehensive
**** Lisey, nothing’s ever easy, is it? Sorry, kiddo. I think I’d be camping out on the hematologist’s door step (and I hope a good one.) Next the hematologist and then allergist.
Also, I’d suggest you get all these numbers into a good spreadsheet and make an easy-to-read list of all your symptoms (night sweats, joint pain, hypoglycemia, fatigue, etc. Get these papers to the doc before the appointment, so that he/she has plenty of time to mull them over. If necessary, explain to the nurse that you would like the doctor to look at this info first. Try to resist talking about what you think it might be and let the doc brainstorm, before you join in. You've been great about doing your homework, so you will be well-prepared for your appointment.
I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for ya! -Jenny
I'm so sorry you're going through all this!!! You mentioned having rheumatoid arthritis. Just wondering..... were you tested for lupus?
Hoping you find answers and feel better soon!

I have been fighting autoimmune disease since I was 6 years old. My mom had severe RA and it caused heart disease. It is frustrating and it seems no one wants to specialize in it because it's so complicated and I believe, very little success in treating it. It makes you realize how little is really known about some medical conditions. The studies never seem promising or quick enough. Drugs won't be out for several years when we need them NOW. I am seen at Stanford for my issues. I suggest you also have the following checked:
HHV family
EBV
C Pneumonia
Lyme Disease
Mycoplasma Fermentan
I think that nutrition/food allergies or at least sensitivities are a huge factor in auto immune. Good luck and I'm learning a lot by reading your posts.
Cheers,
Cathy
Thank you, Cathy! You gave me moor info to read up on! I just want to find a good doctor at this point - that, in and of itself, will make me "feel better"
