What is the monthly average weight loss?
No. Stop. I understand, you want goals, you want to know how much weight you will lose by when, you want to know if you are on track. I get that. But stop. You're 12 days post op. Stop. Stop!
That said, rough guidelines are something like 25% EWL at 2 months, 50% at 6 months, 80% at 12 months, and 100% at 18 months. You may or may not keep up with those. It depends on you, your metabolism, how much you weigh, how old you are, and lots of other factors. But stop worrying about it at 12 days out!

What Chad said for sure!
As a newb post op, I had lots of complications. I actually forgot I had weight loss surgery, because I was so focused on whether or not I'd be able to walk again, if the pain in my legs would ever go away. I was focused on survival.
I never freaked out over my weight loss, and had a mind set to just do whatever I need to do to recover, eff weight loss, that wasn't even my priority.
