Thanks Maria! I appreciate the kind words. The healing process is more difficult than I ever imagined, but it it is getting better slowly.

Thanks Leslie!

I'm 5"5'. Usually EWL is based on getting to a normal BMI, right? In that case, I'd be more than 100% EWL because I hit normal BMI at 149. I weighed 143 this morning. I don't know if that's was it's based on, though.

The 2 piece is funny. I wouldn't have ever dreamed of wearing one, but I need a suit with bra support on the top that still covered my wrinkly thighs and I couldn't find that in a 1 piece. I was terrified the first time I wore the 2 piece (and I mean FIRST....I've never had a 2 piece before, unless you count when I was 3 years old.)

SUCCESS! ! !  You look absolutely wonderful!

I love Julie's advice about staying "self-focused".  You're worth it!  I think if you've shed lots of pounds as well as lots of friends you're well on your way to a healthy and happy future.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your mother.  Losing a parent is never easy and there is no relationship on earth quite like the mother-daughter bond.

Congratulations again on your achievements.  You should be proud!  What a role model!

Congrats on all the success and THANK YOU for sharing.

These posts are so helpful.  I especially appreciated the break-down by month.  Sometimes (as a newbie) when people share such large numbers I get worried that I'll never amount to that.  Seeing the numbers by month made it much less overwhelming and made me think, well, heck, maybe I can get there too!  Much continued success as you continue to make life your own.

Love the pics... look how happy you are!!!
Pick your surgery first, then your surgeon. Not the other way around.
PS:... Potato chips should be a food group.

I'm tired of screwing with that damn health widget.
I've lost 125 pounds to date!!!!
   And I'm UNDER 190 now!!!

You look freaking amazing!!! And what did you do, get married at 15?? You don't look old enough to be married almost 19 years.

Incisional hernia- Oh my did I have a bad one, thank god I got it fixed a few weeks ago, I feel so much better.

Dizziness- I get that too, but I've had it since I was in a car accident 8 years ago. It occurs when my blood sugar is lower (but not too low), so I usually just make sure that I eat every couple hours to keep it stable. So long as I do that my dizziness isn't as bad when I stand up quickly.

Oh, and where did you get your bathing suit top??? I'm looking for one that will cover my chest and I tell you, no stores near me have a top to cover these girls. (Though I'd be wearing mine under my running tank).
