Topic: Need E-Bay Help
I have a bunch of stuff to sell but have no talent in how to do it. Does someone here have a seller's account and would like to list my stuff?

I got mine from a seller by the name of idstuff and I love it. Paid $9.99 or so for the bracelet and $3.00 or so for shipping. It's not fancy but that didn't matter to me. I just wanted it to say what it needed to say. Good luck, Myra 11/5/04 295.5/203

Topic: medical ID bracelet
Hi everyone. I need a medical ID bracelet, but can't afford some of the ones I've seen on Ebay. Anyone know where I could get one for like 20 dollars? Thanks! Cathy

Woe, this post was so long ago. We have stopped selling on ebay because our other funraisers have been so succseful. We help with some surgery cost, donate vitamins, protein drinks, clothes etc. Adrienne

Topic: RE: How to Set up a Seller's Account?
Hi Kandy!! I cant remember how to set it up, but I have to say I am ADDICTED to ebay, I buy and sell sometimes, it is fun to sell, but sometimes I lose out because how much I charge for shipping, and then theres the sellers fees! I guess search what you are trying to sell first on ebay and see what it is going for and see if is worth it, ya know what I mean, and I advise always buy insurance if offered, I have lost a few things along the way, anyways write me anytime and I will help you with what I can ok. Topic: RE: How to Set up a Seller's Account?
Hi, Kandy, I am a long-time lurker and buyer in eBay and finally decided to take the plunge a week ago. I set aside a few hours (in case I needed them) and started with the tutorial they offer on ebay. I had a few unread, new paperbacks that I figured I didn't mind if they sold or not, or if I didn't make anything on them, but could at least chalk it up as an experiment. Well, I didn't do anything fancy this time - just followed the bouncing ball, so to speak - but less than twenty minutes later and I had three fully functioning listings. Now, books are interesting to list because if you type in the ISN number, ebay will provide stock information complete with a photo at no cost to the seller. I know it will be trickier when I want to provide a digital photo for something else. Truly, I think it will be a learning curve thing. The more you do it, the easier it becomes. Just don't risk anything big until you get the hang of it (that's my theory, anyway). As far as charge card, I really think PayPal is the way to go. It is now owned by ebay but it is safe and well-respected as a payment method on ebay. No messing with checks or sending buyers to the bank to get money orders or bank checks. And truly, there are enough people looking on ebay that there will be plenty of potential buyers who fit your criteria - why make it harder, I guess, is my theory. Go to PayPal and set up an account - it takes a little while for your account to become certified (I think that is the term) which is the way PayPal tells sellers you are verified and legitimate. In fact, I use PayPal all the time to transfer money to my son who lives 2000 miles away - it is convenient and useful that way. Anyway, if you are an ebay buyer, you can start the seller process right from your "my ebay" homepage. And as far as it being worth it, I think we have to spend enough time on ebay to know what is selling, what is hot, etc. and whether we can afford to settle for a certain amount for an item. In over a hundred buys, I haven't had any problem that wasn't resolved by a seller - I can't often say the same thing for local store buying, you know? Hope this helped a little. I am new to it all, but hope to do more. Peace, Maryalice

Topic: How to Set up a Seller's Account?
Can anyone give me a short version of "How to set up a Seller's Account"? Do you really have to have a credit card? Is it worth the fees you have to pay in order to sell stuff? Is it difficult to learn? I'd really like to get into it... Thanks for any info you can give me! Kandy
