looking for exercise partner

hi, im a british black man age 39 and i am tired of being overweight so i am planning to draw up a diet and exercise plan starting from early september with the goal of loosing a few stone by my 40 birthday in feb 2007. i have a flabby tummy that doesnt look good and i want to lose a good few inches from my waist so i can fit into smaller size jeans or trousers and be able to wear shirts without the big paunch in front of me. it wont be easy but im gonna try because i dont want to waste another 7 months living the coach potato lifestyle that ive become accustomed to anymore! it wont be easy also because im quite a shy sensitive man and i dont feel at ease sometimes when im out. but thats something i gotta deal with anyway i can cause im really tired of staying indoors sitting around eating sleeping and wasting time. i believe i can do this I CAN DO THIS. if say by my 42nd birthday i can buy a shirt and wear it without the buttons straining against my tummy and if i can wear a jacket and zip it up without any difficulty i will surely feel happy : ) and ill try my utmost to do all i can to avoid an unhealthy lifestyle. anyone that is in a similar situation that you want to change for the better and you wouldnt mind a exercise partner just get in contact and lets get the ball rolling. i live in wembley so anyone in wembley that is looking for a exercise partner just contact me. i would appreciate any encouragement from overseas the more encouragement the better i think. i just dont want to stay overweight so i gotta do something praticle and positive and this is the first step. i wish everyone doing a similar thing all the very best and remember YOU CAN DO IT! just to let you all know that today i went out for a early morning jog, i found it difficult considering i havent jogged in years, but i managed to run to the end of the road and then i half walked and ran round the block twice. after that i made a batch of bacon sandwiches using a full pack of back bacon and about 9 slices of bread. not good i know! but its gonna take a while to change my eating habits. after eating i took out my pushbike and rode round the block and then up the road and back. i feel better for taking that exercise and i feel less guilty for eating such a large unhealthy breakfast. i hope i will keep up my exercise and then work on my eating habits. trevor ellis

Hey Trevor, I wish you luckon your mission. I can't be an exercise buddy because I live in the United States but I can be a sounding board if you need one. latest news is i lost a few inches from my tummy over the past 8 days so that is encouraging for me to continue trying to lose enough weight and reduce my unsightly paunch!
