Hi Ruth, I am new to the web site - and not sure exactly where to go on here yet - but yes, I need someone to talk to who has been though it. I have all of my appointments out of the way and I will be scheduling my surgery soon. When I first talked to the surgeon he said I was a good candidate for the sleeve or gastric bypass - but he was leaning towards the sleeve... after talking with people I think I might be better off with the bypass - I am so addicted to sugar and sugary things, and I think I will need that reminder that I can't eat that way... like by getting sick if I do. It's sad I can't control the way I eat you know, but I guess I'm not the only one... Anyway - it just seems so second nature to grab a Hershey kiss when I come home from work -- or at work when I'm stressed I'll grab M&Ms...  I am worried about how my day will go -- and what I can replace food with... Does that make sense? I am very ready for a new life style and a new me - I feel horrible most of the time now.... Thanks for listening.

Ruth , i also would like to know about your eating habits now. i started out at 280 had rny on 9/2/08 have gained 20lbs and need to get focused motivated to get it off. it so easy to go back to old habits need help please.
