Hi there. I would love to be your pen pal. I had my surgery 5/22/12 so I am still pretty new. I just figure that you can never have enough support people! I had the sleeve. What surgery are you having? This is a wonderful journey and I am so proud of you for taking that step towards better health! As for "being pretty" again...I don't think that is needed. I believe that everyone is beautiful and just because they gain weight doesn't make them any less beautiful or pretty. 
I believe it is more of a matter of SEEING ourselves as beautiful again. I know I have struggled with that too. Hope to hear from you soon!

I am looking for someone to walk with. I got out of surgery on June 5, 2012. I am still having trouble getting that exercise in (I have a bad ankle.) I'm trying to find someone close with a car that could come walk with me and be friends! Thanks!
