Topic: Need some understanding friends
My name is Erin. I am new to this site and am in the pre-op portion of my gastic bypass journey. I have a few friends who have had the surgery but am already losing old friends due to my decision. I don't want that drama in my life and would like to meet new people who could become life long friends and be empathetic, supportive and kind. If you can relate to what I am going through then add me or message me please. I'd love to meet some new people who are living the same journey as myself.

I am in Grand Rapids Michigan and am working toward getting the DS, I meet with the surgeon later today. Would love to chat with someone who is going through the same thing, close to surgery or even just post-op.

Hello, I am looking for a pal who has some the the same unique cir****tances as I do. I am a 24 year old girl, married to my husband who is deployed to s.korea. I am under tricare of course. I have not been approved for the procedure, but I have been referred to a surgeon and have to attend a seminar second we'd of December. I am lucky in that my mother and sister have both had WLS and have maintained successful results. I am double lucky bc the surgeon that did my sisters surgery takes my insurance and I am betting he will take me as a patient. And finally, I am triple lucky bc even though my husband is in s.korea, I decided to move home to spend time with family; which means I have the best support system I could possibly ask for...
