Sherry depending on your length of stay - you don't have to pack much. I did pack my own gown, slippers, took reading matrerials, needed lip balm and didn't take that. But I didn't need any of the above..due to the drugs/medication I was most of the time asleep or watching tv I wasn't paying attn too. My mom stayed with me and she was able to take a cover, and bed sheet, pillow. Prayers are with you for a speedy recovery!

I took my feather pillows....chapstick....my own gown, robe and slippers and yes, my make up. I also took my own surgical grade gel sanitizer and antibacterial soap. (You just can't be too careful.....take it from a hospital nurse.) I concentrated on early ambulation and using my incentive spirometer correctly and often. Best wishes and you are in my prayers.... luvitsunnyv

check my profile Sherry for some ideas of what to take. You will need a little pillow to splint your tummy so you can cough, and for the ride home in the car. chapstick, make up (yes that is important, you feel prettier, and they get you up and walking. A nice robe so your hiney doesn't peak out of your gown. Other stuff I have on profile. praying all goes well, looking forward to having you on the losers bench!! blessings, Tami

If you have a cpap/bipap machine, you'll want to bring that with. Also, something I wish I would have brought is Baby Wipes.
