:help: My surgeon was Dr. Nestor De La Cruz Munoz in Miaim but I live in Orlando. The drives back and forth are killing me. Eventually I want to find a PCP who has worked with bariatric patients and also a surgone down here (If I need one) (DO I actually need a surgeon as well since I've already had the surgery?) Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Hello, Yes, you need to align yourself with a surgical practice, IMHO. If Celebration isn't too far for you, Dr. Richard Bransdorf is "bariatric-friendly" and knowledgeable. US Bariatric Orlando is also in Celebration - Drs. Keith Kim and Robert Marema (also RoseMarie Toussaint). I am a patient (first) and also a staff member at USB. Phone is 407-303-4504. We can give you Dr. Bransdorf's contact info if you call, too. HTH, Kristen

Here is the website of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons....you can surgeon their membership and find a surgeon in your area who is willing to follow other surgeon's patients. Just look under code FOLL for follow. http://www.asbs.org/html/about/membersearch2.html Sarah
