approved for revision

Just wanted to post a note of hope to any one who needs a revision. Patrice got my revision approved 2 days after being submitted to Aetna. there is hope.

Congratulations!!!!! Just curious since I'm going through an appeal for my revision right now...what type are you having? I'm needing a revision to my RNY...going through BCBS...they denied saying I had already lost and regained my weight back...that is not true...I don't even think they read my file. I have to prove their was a complication with the original surgery that caused my pouch to be larger than it should be, or they would cover it to be made smaller...and they won't cover for me to be converted to DS. But if I had a VGB they would cover revision to RNY....I just don't get it. Just treat my SMO. Sarah

I am having a revision to my RNY open. Dr Overcash in Ocala will be doig the revision for me. His staff is Great. they insurance approval in 2 days.
