Hey Ms Heather!! Its good to hear about olivia.. I'm glad she is continuing to grow, and be healthy.. thats wonderful. Enjoy it while it lasts... before long she'll be asking for the keys to your car, and staying up till 4 am on the internet. LOL!! Things are going well with me.. I'm just taking it day by day. The whole move situation and more have stressed me out so much that I just lose it sometimes.. I joined Bally's yesterday, and I plan on picking up a few classes to relieve stress. Namely Yoga, Jumba and a TaeKwondo/Kickboxing course. Between the 3 of these.. I'll probably kill myself.. but the Jumba sounds the most exciting.. I mean.. my body jiggles enough on its own.. now I'm gonna learn some kinda latin dance moves... I'll be jiggling for like an hour after the excersizes stop!! I've been in a lull.. kinda depressed and God knows I'm stressed. I stopped smoking (which I'm incredibly proud about) and I'm trying to curb my snacking and carbs... even though, I'm really not doing that badly. Have a great saturday! Amy

Amy you've been through alot. Your pics are great and I'm excited to see you change!!! Congrats on the no smoking thing....major kudos there. Its hard and I am proud of you for taking the challenge!!! The gym idea sounds great, good for you. I am sorry you are feeling down. It appears you are making good choices though, and that is part of the battle. Recognizing the down feeling, staying away from our old comfort friend...food. I know its frustrating not knowing about moving, and lots of things. We are here to help encourage you along though. Let me know if I can help, ok? What can you do to try to eliminate some of the stress somethings, we cannot change, other things we can say "no" to, and make sure you have time for yourself and relaxing time too. hugs, and blessings, Tami

went to see my son in alabama over labor day. Homeschooling 2 days a week since august, working full time 5p-1am now with hospice. building my mary kay business part time, started kung fu and really l ike the challenge mentally and toning, movement and flexibility. Learning self defense. going to see my parents sept 20-29 in buffalo, booked a bahama cruise with my kids and parents march 12-14, working on weeding the garden and keeping the house up. Miss you all and look forward to the next meet and greet which will be????? I don't work weekends any more, so getting up on sat should not be a problem anymore for me. Keeping my weight at around 118 now. I am not having to take the prevacid anymore, I just weened myself off . My thyroid level was off, so they inceased my synthroid, so my hair is getting better. Started to lose some and it got so dry. I am feeling really great though, my labs at my one year were really good, and I feel l ike I am in control of what I eat. I like the new me, and like wearing skirts because I have nice looking legs now. Go figure, never had nice looking legs for 43 years!!!! Off to bakers to get some nice shoes and check out the swim suits at everything bu****er. I got an awesome red pair of shoes while in alabama. been looking for red for a while, have two red dresses to wear them with. I'm excited! Well, that's my update. love to all, Tami

I am still here. Mostly just reading lately. Life is busy. My weight loss has slowed down dramatlically, but that is to be expected and with only 3 lbs left until goal I am glad it has.

Hi Heather Oh boy I'm late for roll call, but I'm here....haven't been on much just plain old busy. My husband is getting ready for Lap-Band, so I'm being his coach...(fulltime job) As well as planning a 45 birthday party for him. For myself I've lost a total of 142 lbs, I do good durning the day but night time sometimes I'm out of control with snacking. I need to get better about that. Feeling great down from a size 32 slack to size 20. Tops from a 5x to a 1x or 18/20 Doing everyday things with so much more ease. It was a year on 8/15. Another 50-60 to go and I will make goal. Glad to see you and others that responded to roll call. Have a great day! Priscilla

I'M HERE, JUST DON'T POST VERY OFTEN, BUT LOVE TO READ THEM AND THANK GD FOR THIS WEBSITE, I have met some wonderful people from it (only online). I am 9 months out and 91lb down and feel wonderful, healthy, more energetic and and actually like myself at last. I have around 10lb to go until goal, and a lifetime of keeping it off and staying focused, everyday I remind myself that it is only a tool and the rest is up to me, and so far, so good, I never forget where I came from and realize I am only one bite away and I will always be a food adict. I am going to the US Bariatric convention next weekend which I am soooooo looking forward to, and hope to get a lot more educated about the long term effects of WLS. Hope everyone *****ads this is doing good, and even though I don't know a lot of you, we are like a big family. Best regards, Joanne

Hello Heather and all, I'm not really here, but I stopped in briefly because I just updated my profile. I got a call today from Ocala Style magazine for an interview on an upcoming magazine article and thought I'd better update my profile here and stop in to say hello. It's been 2 years since my surgery and so much has changed since then. Good to see ya'll.
