One thing I forgot to mention is take advantage of the monthly support groups. I thought "I won't need those". I went for the first time in March to the open forum support group and it was very good, but this month I went to the new beginnings ( 0- 1 1/2years) and it was awsome. It focased just on early problems. It really let me know I'm not alone. I hope to make it each month. It's the first Wednesday. You won't regret it. Wendy

Yes I was told that those support groups are great. The support groups are on Wed. which is when I have class so I can't go to any post op. But, I'm having my sugery the day of a support group so depending on how I feel I will try to make it. The staff there said it should be ok.

Hi Amanda. I also wanted to extend an invitation to you to check out our support group. We are independent, but I do have several patients of Dr. Kim's that attend. We meet monthly at the Herndon Library in East Orlando. Our next meeting is on April 19th at 7:00 p.m. If you would like more information, feel free to check out our website, www.WOCF.org, or you can send me an e-mail at: [email protected] I wish you lots of luck, and hopefully we will meet one day! ~ Monica

Thanks so much Monica. It's tough to get to Celebration so any local support groups I can go to is very much appreciated. I am planning on being there. I live right close to there. Is there anything I should bring?
