Sorry but I find myself sitting here this morning thinking I need to post to the board. Force of habit. I guess... Here are a few to answer for the group: So are you all ready for Christmas? Did you run around like crazy people this weekend and finish up your shopping, baking and decorating? Have you mailed everything? Is the house clean for company? Are you stressed, relaxed, looking forward to it all or dreading it all? Have a great day! Amy

I like your habit, Amy! I haven't really started my shopping yet, but let's face it, I only have to figure out something for my assistant and something for my housekeeper. I'll hopefully have an inspiration and do something today. I didn't really run around this weekend, but I did have a little company on Saturday which was nice. I'm usually the relaxed type of person and this time of year is no exception. Work is my biggest stresser because sometimes I'm pulled in several different directions. Have a great week everyone! Jan

Morning Amy, I am done. But every time I go out I fine more. Its easy to buy for my grand kids. I will cook Christmas morning for my family. I have done some cleaning but not to much. Haven't even started my christmas cards yet. I can't seen to fine my address book. Maybe before next year I'll get it on the puter. I love christmas and the reason for the season. God bless you all. tina

I have a couple things to buy but they are clothes so should not be too hard to find. My Jewish daghter in law came to our house yesterday to decorate our tree. It is a tradition . HOUSE CLEAN!!!! Uck, it is presentable but I have so much to do. We have loads of people coming to visit in January so I am more stressed about that.

Yea Amy! I am glad you have this habit. I was sad this morning thinking I wouldn't any question to answer and NOW I have bunches. Anyway............... I am not ready for Christmas. I still have shopping to do. We baked over the weekend but not everything. We always make goodie packages for friends and neighbors and some of those are done. Working on the SF ones today. I still have a few packages to mail. TODAY..... My house is like always. We keep it cleaned up okay and that is about as good as it gets. WE are decorated and the table is set for Christmas. There will only be 6-10 of us for dinner. I will cook that morning. I am not stressed because I have been doing large meals for holidays since I was very young. You also have to remember I have 9 kids with spouses and 11 grandchildren (so far) so big crowds are always fun to me. Little crowds like this year seem almost quiet. I love Christmas time. I love all the fun, hectic, music there is surrounding it. I am not a big fan of grouchy, tired people trying to shop and hoping it will "be over soon". I never felt that way. I try to send out good thoughts to all I meet during these holidays whether it is Christmas, Hannauka, Kwanza or just Santa they celebrate. You all have been a very special part of my life this year and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and send a holiday greeting to all. Carol -44#

I am getting a break this year as I am so newly post op my mother in law is doing Christams Eve for me at her house (I feel a little sad about not doing my traditonal open house) and my mother is doing Christmas dinner so I will be unusually not busy this year. The shopping is all done except for stocking stuffers for my boys who are 14 and 16 and thats a tough one to fill. My daughter is 11 and she is easy to do. I hate to say it but on one aspect I will be glad when its over only because then the food everywhere will be a thing of the past and everyone else will be not eating too! lol Merry Christmas!

Hi Amy, I had a Christmas party to attend on Saturday night and I did spend alot of yesterday in Target shopping and wrapping gifts. With my surgery coming up, we are on a limited budget so I mostly just bought for my children and my husband. I have not baked the 1st thing but after today I am off so I figure we will bake tommorrow and Thursday (pre-op testing Wednesday , they said to expect to be there all day) I have a 4 year old so no matter how often I clean, it is never clean for very long so I will be dashing around Friday afternoon doing it again. I am actually very relaxed under the cir****tances. This was fun- I'll look forward to tommorrow's note! Terri

I can honestly say I'm all shopped out. Packages are wrapped. Stocking stuffers are in individual plastic bags ready to pour into the stockings, House is lookin' okay (could always use a little extra work) Laundry is done and Christmas cards are addressed and mailed. Made PB and Chocolate fudge over the weekend along with some Splenda PB cookies for me. Whew!!!!!!!!!!! I still have to buy groceries for Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas brunch. (Will be cooking for 10). I guess I'm energized this year since last year I was only a week postop on Christmas day. Blessings to all, LuvitsunnyV@goal
