I had my surgery on Dec 7th. By my scale I have lost 23lbs, but the scale hasn't moved in 2 weeks! I'm getting 60 Gms pro per day. I still have my G tube in, so I can't do a lot of exercising. I am really getting discouraged. Anyone have any advice. MaryKaye

Are you getting in your water? It is very important. The fat has to have something to "wa**** out" with. Also, walking is about the only exercise you need to worry about right now but do as much as you can. It will help. BUT don't be discouraged. Everyone goes through slowdown about this time. I have heard it has something to do with your body healing and recuperating from major surgery. Also, if you have measured preop, now is the time to re measure. You may be surprised at how many inches are gone. If you didn't think to do pre-op measuring..........start now. It will give you another way to measure your progress. It helped me. Some places , like your calves actually get bigger because you are using the muscles. PLUS THE 23# is a great start for not even 3 weeks!!!!! Congratulations. That is really a lot for only 20 days. We all get impatient but you have to remember it took a while to get it on there. Good luck. You will do fine. Carol

I'd be discouraged too. Make sure you are following the diet closely. What does your surgeon say??????
