Food Find of the Week
Hey all! Now that I am back on track in the kitchen and can actually explore food a little bit more, I would like to start posting a "Food Find" or Recipe of the week again. My food find this week is an alternative to cranberry juice. I LOVED cranberry juice before surgery (and had to drink it by the boatloads because of recurring kidney stones), but since surgery I have been afraid to drink any because of the tartness or the sugars. Well.....I found a new one that is soooooo yummy! I got it at Publix, it is Welch's Low Cal Apple Cranberry. They come in a 6 pack and are 10 oz. bottles. They taste like red cinnamon apples with a hint of cranberry and are sweetened with Splenda. I LOVE THEM! The lemonade ones are yuck, but the Apple Cranberry =

I have only tried the Apple Cranberry and Lemonade, but I got this from the Welch's Website:
Welch's now offers low calories juice drinks in 10 oz., 11.5 oz., and 16 oz. sizes in 4 great flavors: White Grape Rasberry, Apple Cranberry, Strawberry Kiwi and Lemonade. Each has 15-20 calories and 3-4 grams of carbs per serving!
I am going to try the other two when I run out of these!

Hi Phoenix,
Thanks for posting this...I am having a hard time getting my fluids in this past week as well as food. Will add to this my list. Please do keep posting when you find something. Everything I pick up at the market that is sugarfree contains aspartame and I am so allergic. Slpendra is good for me. I appreciate your finds.
