ivc filter?

I am having an IVC filter put in wednesday. I am nervous, has anyone else had one put in? My surgery is scheduled for june 6. I am even more nervous about that. I want to know what complications you all have had. I am gettin git done my second into summer semester at school. I dont even know if i should take classes that semester? HELP!!
